In A Nutshell

Hi. I appreciate you taking the time to read about me. I’m hoping to meet someone who likes to stay active and enjoys the outdoors as much as I do. I don’t have a bucket list but I’ve always dreamt of visiting all of the national parks. Im a very inquisitive and curious person. I love thoughtful interesting conversation especially when I learn something new.
I think of myself as thoughtful, kind, intelligent and at times funny. My kids and grandkids mean the world to me. guess that's obvious since I could hardly find a pic without a grandchild in it. They live in Julian and I keep a little granny flat there. I love being in the country. We hike, stargaze, raise chickens and just enjoy the natural beauty.
Road trips are a favorite. Wine tasting, hiking, movies, playing cards, gardening are a few of my favorite activities. I love to do creative artistic projects around the house. I know my way around Home Depot as well as most men!
I love to cook and bake and entertain using REAL food. I won't be the one pretending to love kale or feeding you spaghetti made from squash. That disclosure is probably why I have been repeatedly asked to post a full length picture. I suspect it's to make sure I’m not hiding a butt the size of Texas!

The One I Am Looking For

If I'm lucky enough to find that person he'll be thoughtful and kind. He cherishes his family and is loved by his friends. He's accomplished and confident but not arrogant or judgmental. He'll be fun to be with. He'll be a little goofy and very funny. At least I'll think so. He won't take himself or life too seriously. He'll be as happy to have found me as I am to have found him. He'll be affectionate and loving.
He loves the outdoors as well as quiet time at home. He's romantic and affectionate. He appreciates spirited thoughtful conversation and can tolerate differences of opinion. He loves animals, especially my labradoodle Libby.

I'd Just Like to Add

All of the aforementioned traits are wonderful. But the truth is, when there is chemistry between two people, it's exciting and very special. I believe that if you’ve had great love in your life, you’ll look for it again. And if you find it, everything else will just fall into place.
