A little about me...

Loyal to a fault. My family is the center of my universe and I am proud of the families they have created. I've never met a stranger but will turn into an enemy if you cross my friends or family.. Enjoy the arts in all its forms...ballet, theatre, sculptures, paintings. I have degrees in art, math and computer science but prefer to work with my heart. I was a ballet dancer early in life, but spend any time I can working with local community theatre. If there isn't one where I am, I've been known to start one. I love painint and have recently gotten into photography. I love to dance and find a place to balroom in whatever city I visit.

About the one I'm looking for...

Someone that understands that family is important, yet maintains their own life and encourages their children to do the same. A free spirit who is open minded in terms of other cultures and adventures. I am looking for a true partner...someone I can learn from and someone who values my thoughts and experiences.
I want someone that is comfortable dancing (or learning too), going to a museum, volunteering, or sitting at home reading. Someone who is proud of their accomplishments, family and will be proud of me too.

A great relationship starts with shared values, a willingness to accept others and the recognition that things aren't perfect everyday, but with faith and love, tomorrow will be.
I've lived in New Orleans, S Florida, Austin, Louisville and now Oneonta, Al.
It must be known that I'm an Auburn fan during football season and a Kentucky fan during basketball.

Arts

 

There isn't a form of the arts I don't enjoy. Even those that I don't particularly like myself, I appreciate the high level of skill and talent it takes to practice. Museums to Opera to Ballet.

 

Family and Friends

 

I believe in education and loyalty. My children, my sisters, my grandchildren are all educated, independent and grounded. But each is fun loving and social. We enjoy conversations or just being in the same space. We rarely get together all at once, but Holidays are special for that one reason, if nothing else.

 

Hosting

 

Beyond my family, I enjoy making friends and entertaining. Whether at my home or elsewhere, the ideas and conversation that occur when surrounded by like minded people inspire me to do more. Whether its a football or Oscar viewing, count on being at my home.
