A little about me...

I love being around people, although there are times when it is nice to just be reading a book in a quiet spot in the house. I am very proud of both my sons. I treasure close relationships and family. I was raised catholic and our sons were brought up in the Catholic Church. More recently though I joined Christ Lutheran Church. The members of the church or so welcoming and I feel entirely at home. I fell in love once. I am a widow. I was married for 37 years. I am hoping to find a man who will become my best friend at first and then more later, close companion, and more.

About the one I'm looking for...

I am interested in a long-term relationship, starting first with developing a good friendship. I like to hold hands and be close to my partner. I would like to meet someone to hike with, go to dinner with, and enjoy each others company

I'd just like to add...

Walking, hiking, cross country sking, gardening (huge garden - donate some to the Food Bank) ,reading books, chatting with friends, crochet. Playing with my Golden Doodle (Ladybug), travel, going to sporting events. Just returned from visiting my friend in New Zealand. Im open to new adventures, though. I am one of those individuals who never sits still for long, unless I have a very very good book. I like to keep busy. Whether it is hiking, walking, gardening, going to a movie, taking a college class. Im excited to meet someone who has similar and different interests. I would like to learn new things and find my soul mate
