A little about me...

I've been reviewing the criteria that my matches have for their "perfect woman" and I must tell you, on behalf of my fellow sisters in the search and myself, it's a pretty hard leap to make. It's seems that we must be a combination of a Playboy Bunny, Martha Stewart, Einstein and Lance Armstrong. Be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound without spilling the sweet tea and be independently wealthy. Whew!!!!
I'm a country girl that played sports, worked on the farm and rode horses then decided to take a vacation so i left home to serve my country in the US Navy. I recently retired from Federal civil service position so I'm pretty patriotic. I was a single mother but now my daughters have moved on with their lives and I suddenly realized I've got time for myself.
Ive traveled extensively in my career and would like to continue to do that. But I don't want to travel those roads alone. I would very much like to share life experiences with a friend, a partner, a lover and yes I would like for them to be one in the same, but we can never have enough good solid friends. I'm honest, sometimes to a fault, loyal, devoted, faithful and generous. But I do not tolerate rudeness, disrespect or BS.

About the one I'm looking for...

Everyone talks about watching the sunset, skinny dipping by moonlight and all those romantic things that fall into place when you're with someone. But I need someone to be there for the cloudy days and storms of life that come around more often than not as we get older. Things like jumping into your jeans at 3am cuz a friend or relative has been admitted to ICU and you spend the next 4 days in the same clothes because you're scared they might die if you leave. Or missing the office Christmas party because your grandchild has a part in the play. Or driving all night to rescue a friend in trouble. Or going to get soft tissues and chicken soup when I've got the flu and says I'm pretty when I look like death warmed over. And not expecting me to look like Tammy Faye Bakker when I wake up. Those are every day things that don't get brought to the table. Loving and cuddling just comes naturally when the storms are weathered together.
Honesty, faithfulness and communication are imperative.
